Tammy Rentsch is a wife, mom, and prayer warrior whose greatest passion is helping others experience the power of God’s Word through prayer. She earned her master’s degree in Biblical studies from Asbury Theological Seminary and loves speaking, teaching, mentoring women, and facilitating life board workshops. Tammy is the author of Always Pray & Don’t Give Up: Praying Scripture for Your Marriage and Learning to Rest in What God Alone Can Do: Praying Scripture for Our Adult Children. She lives in Florida, with her husband, Allan, where they enjoy traveling, motorcycle riding, and ballroom dancing.

Do I have to know a lot about the Bible to come?
Not at all. These gatherings are for everyone, whether you’ve been walking with the Lord for years or you’re just learning to pray. Tammy often prays Scripture aloud, explaining it as she goes, so you can learn naturally as you listen and join in. All you need is a willing heart and you will get to know God more deeply. His Word will meet you right where you are.
What if I’m afraid to pray aloud? Can I still come to the prayer meetings?
Absolutely! You are more than welcome to come, even if you never say a word out loud. Prayer isn’t about performance, it’s about presence. God hears the quiet prayers of your heart (Romans 8) just as clearly as the ones spoken aloud. These gatherings are a safe, grace-filled space to grow in confidence and connection with God at your own pace. You can simply listen, agree in your heart, and let the Holy Spirit build your faith over time. Many people who once felt afraid to pray aloud have discovered the freedom and joy that comes from being surrounded by others who pray together in love, not judgment.
